Freemasons donate £1,290 to St Rocco’s

Kevin Poynton Assistant Provincial Grand Master accompanied by Andy Barton Warrington Group Chairman visited St Rocco’s Hospice to present a donation of £1,290 to Rachel Ingham, the hospice’s Fundraising Manager.

Rachel was very pleased to receive the donation on behalf of St Rocco’s and thanked Kevin and Andy, saying that the Masons have contributed many times in the past and that the donations help considerably with the care work that is undertaken.

Kevin expressed his delight to be able to present the donation on behalf of the Masonic Charitable Foundation. He thanked Rachel and all the staff for the wonderful work they undertake, he also wished that they continue their vital work for many years to come.

St Rocco’s provides care and support for those living with life limiting illnesses, their families and carers. Being a registered charity, they are very much dependent on the support of the local community. However, they do depend heavily on charity work and donations, which are essential for their continued success.

St Rocco’s is a local hospice and is a shining example of the work undertaken by the hospice movement, which offers a first-class service in the Warrington district.
