Zebras run loose in Warrington

In recent years the Warrington Group has donated cuddly toys to the babies born prematurely who will be in the care of the Warrington Hospital Neonatal Unit over the Christmas period. This year’s presentation was made by Chris Gleave, Warrington Group Vice Chairman, Chris Todd, charity steward and John McIntyre, secretary.

The toys were purchased by the generosity of Chris Todd, who this year, had decided to make a donation to a charitable organisation in lieu of sending Christmas cards to fellow Freemasons. This practice is now adopted by a number of members in the Warrington Group.

The cuddly toys, zebras, all answering to the name of Zac, were gratefully received by Gina Coldrick, Julia Austin, Julie Harris, Dr Anil Gopalakrishna and Dr Hulikere Satish who thanked all Warrington Freemasons for their consideration and kindness.

Chris Gleave thanked all the staff working in the Neonatal Unit for their dedication in looking after the mothers and babies in their care throughout the year and in particular, during the Christmas season.
